I bought the deluxe edition, but after installing when i entered the product
key, it said that the key was incorrect. so i uninstalled it and returned it
in exchange for a new one. When i put in the new disk, the installer screen
comes up and says repair or uninstall. whichever one i click a message comes
up and says error code 1610, the data for this product is corrupt, contact
your support personel. can anyone help me get it back and running.

Hi Mike,

Looks like the uninstallation attempt failed somewhere along the way...

Here's how to uninstall a game when using Add-Remove programs fails:

Step A: Start your computer in Safe Mode by holding down the F8 key.

Step B: Reinstall the game to the same folder it was installed to originally,
and then try to uninstall it again using Add-Remove programs. If
that fails, delete it's folder and any save games in My Documents.

Step C: Install and Run Regcleaner and if it finds any stray registry keys for the
game, delete them: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download460.html
