Will I have to reinstall all the drivers when i do a clean install of vista.
For instance, will i have to reinstall the drivers for my dvd drive, built
in speakers etc? WI-FI reciever drivers? Or will this be done for me.
I am pretty good with computers, but I have never installed an OS before.
Thanks!

Hi Tim,
The DVD media of Vista contains many drivers. It will install the drivers
for you once it detected you got it. If new one is available, Windows
Update will offer it for you too.
If there are drivers that is missing, you should check with the vendor's
website and install it manually. But first let Vista and Windows Update
install them.
I suggest to to use every peripherals that you have there (e.g. MMC reader,
Wi-fi, Bluetooth, Printer etc). Vista will install drivers if it's
available in its drivers lists.
If you have a driver or software that is confirmed Vista compatible, you may
install it prior running Windows Update. If you are unsure of its
compatibility with Vista, let Windows Update do its thing first :-)
