Reinstallation Question

Hello,

I have windows XP pro and have lost some registry information (I'm guessing
form the installation and uninstallation of SQL).

Can I do a repair type installation?

If I can't do a repair installation, can I re-install windows without having
to save all of my applications and files ?

The Repair Install does what you want. However, it is always wise to
back up your data first since Stuff Happens.

why not do a system restore?
