reinstall windows mail

Hi,
Sometimes when I open my emails windows flashes on and off. It only seems
to do this with the mail program. Can I reinstall it without doing the
whole operating system (Vista Home Premium) as I don't want to have to start
all over again. I feel that Windows Mail might be corrupt! What should I
do. any ideas? Thanks

It's part of Vista and very hard to reinstall without the rest of Vista.

However, you can reset part of its database as follows: Start Windows
Mail. Click on Tools, then Options, then Advanced, then Restore
Defaults, then Apply, then OK. Note - I haven't tried this, so I don't
know if you will then have to recreate any email, newsgroups, and RSS
accounts you have; have the information needed to do this ready in
case you do.
