I have tried to reinstall this program with the Windows XP Professional Disc
with no success. I have followed the instructions provided from the Microsoft
Office Help Site and cannot access the customize section in Setup to select
the specific features to download the program from the disc.

Any Suggestions? Do I need to buy a new copy to download the program? What
am I doing wrong?

Is there another program that Microsoft carries that have the same features
as Photo Editor to reinstall onto my computer? This program has features that
I must perform daily onto my computer.

Please Help!

Can you supply me with the URL or KB article with the instructions to
install MS Photo Editor off of your OfficeXP disk? I'll have a look at
it for you and see where your problem is.

Secondly, if you are stuck for time, simply install Office XP in a
seperate folder from your current install of Office2003. Both versions
of Office can reside on the same system at once. Generally we install
the older versions first so that file associations reside with the
latest version but you can fix this later if it is an issue for you.
Please do not attempt to install Office XP on the same machine as
Office2003 unless you have the expertise yourself( or local tech
support) to remedy an issue related to conflicts between the two version
of Office that may/might/probably will appear.

Mr. Lebans,
The KB# is 817095. This is found on the Microsoft Help &
Support Page. Cannot "customize set-up" as instructed on this page. Disc will
not alow me to get to features to install or customize to allow a download to
present version on my computer back to Photo Editor originally that was on
computer before Office 2003 Professional was installed on system.
I will try seperate installation but any other suggestions
would be greatfull.

Justin.

Still waiting for a response. Could you please let me know what needs to be
done to get Photo Editor back on my computer.

I told you in my reply that if you were under time constraints to go
ahead and reinstall OfficeXP on your computer.

It's March break up here right now and I'm happily tied up with family
things at the moment.

The KB article is very straightforward in its explanation. I just tried
it here and it works as suggested.
1) What do you mean you cannot get to the "Customize setup" screen?
2) Do you understand that you have to "pretend" you are installing all
of Office XP until you get to the options for Typical/Customize? Make
sure you have selected a folder DIFFERENT from where Office2003 is
currently installed!
