I want to reinstall my Office products on a new computer. Must I do
something special for this? Or can I just run the install disks on the new
computer and re-register the products? I don't want my friends at Microsoft
to think I'm running my stuff on more than one computer!

You should be able to do what you describe provided you have a retail
license and not an OEM license (i.e., Office was bundled with your PC). If
the automatic registration fails, it should display a phone number for you
to call to register by phone. If you have an OEM license, you're out of
luck. OEM licenses are tied to the hardware where they were initially
installed.

Thanks, Brian. I hate when a computer dies!
