reinstall ie6 from XP install disk

Not without reinstalling Windows, no.

Why do you ask?
this problem I'm having with ie6, golive cs2 and mpg movies. I reinstalled SP2
twice, and finally got golive CS and ie6 to handle the mpg movies, but the
golive cs2 can't handle mpg 1 it only shows a blank screen with 'click.
requires plugin but doesn't say which one.'

Since ie6 and CS are now back to normal, I can only assume it's something in
the GL CS 2 package now.

But for awhile there it was with every version of GL and IE6. But using IE6
alone showed there was a problem.

I suspect something in GL CS 2 has modified something it shouldn't have.
Because it's only affecting it now.

This XP Pro is more trouble than it's worth.

It sounds like GL CS 2 (whatever that is) isn't WinXP SP2-compatible (yet).
Golive CS works. CS2 is the problem [maybe].

And by complete dumb luck. ie6 CAN be installed from the XP install disk. just
auto run, and choose additional items. You have to 1st remove it then reinstall
it.
