Learning Curve .ppt2007. (Started late February 2007)
1. I have now completed a short film animation (runs for 9 minutes)
2. A Quiz with music on the first and last slide (Total 8 slides)
I already have song books which I made a several years ago (Old Time Music
Hall songs)
The residents here in this Sheltered Housing Scheme where I live love to
participate in
Sing - Along - Sessions. I use a CD and an extension microphone. The CD has
words
with music. I haven't got just the music :-(
Here's the crunch.
My aim is to :
1. Make one slide per song, plus one Title slide and one End slide making a
collective
total of 40 slides.
2. Each slide to have scrolling text of the song. I do know how to do the
scrolling text
3. In presentation view I will need to use "clicks" for the audience's
individual choice.
4. Subsequently hope to show as a .pptx .
At this stage I intend to continue to use this CD of songs, and the
microphone. I could not cope inserting a sound track on the presentation. I
do not have a CD with just the music. Nevertheless I am determined to try
something to benefit our elderly residents.
Question is, would it be wiser for me to use rehearsed timings on each
slide when I have numbered the individual slides, or just use "clicks"
when in presentation view ? How should I do this?
I need to get my head around this before I start to scan/paste/copy the
songs onto the individual slides, then to find out it may not be achievable
by me. I do realise that I would need
the CD with the words and music playing separately in conjunction with the
presentation
( numbered) of course.
If I am able to accomplish something as a novice other than a short film and
Quiz, then when I apply for a grant to the Housing Association I hope to
convince them that the money I am asking for would be spent wisely, to pay
for a package d Presentation PowerPoint system, comprising, a Lap Top,
Projector and Screen.
Clips of my presentations could be shown at the interview. I would take
along my 14" Flat screen, which I use temporally for viewing presentations.
Again I would hope to convince the Management Funding team they could
have the perfect venue for local Management meetings using an up to date
compact PowerPoint Presentation package which would be on the premises.
My response to the board would be "If I can do it, so can others"
Responses to this garbled info would be greatly appreciated.
