Thanks for the help in

HKCU/....Policies \ M$ \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer...

Id like to uninstall apps using REGISTRY rather than trust

ControlPanel Uninstall Programs ...

But of course you need to nix all PARTs of the installed

stuff . Still its safer .

No one knows to whom you are speaking because you didn't stay in your
original thread or quote any of the previous entries.

It is ridiculous to think that uninstalling programs from Control Panel is
somehow untrustworthy. When you click on "Remove" in Add/Remove Programs
the particular program's own uninstaller is called. So if something doesn't
uninstall cleanly, this is the fault of that particular program and not the
operating system.

Trying to uninstall (remove) an application only from the registry is
fruitless as most programs will have many, many entries not easily found.
Depending on what program you are trying to uninstall, you may even damage
your operating system.

Perhaps if you told us the original issue we might be able to give you
focused advice.

Stop tinkering with your registry and stop advising others to do the
same. You're going down the road to disaster.
