Okay, I kept getting the Error 720... something about not
being able to agree on PPP protocols. So I went ahead and
uninstalled all my WAN Miniports as well as my TCP/IP
under DUN. I went in to install TCP/IP again and I tried
to connect to the internet and I got the same error 720.
So I checked Device Manager and it showed a WAN Miniport
(IP) #2 as being disabled (it was the only WAN Miniport
there). So I went ahead and enabled it but when I tried to
install a driver (netrasa.inf) it kept saying that it
couldn't and a yellow exclamation point would pop up next
to it.
So anyways, I checked my registry and there is NO key for
Wan Miniport (IP) #2 where there should be. I think I may
have inadvertently deleted it while I was editting my
registry (Key 0005). Not having it in the registry may or
may not be the problem. If it is (or if it is any other
problem you think), what should I do to correct this?
Thanks,
Tom
