Again as usual, please forgive me if this information is already known, my
intention is to put out some tips or hints that people may find usefull...

TIP - HOW TO PREVENT THE VISTA SECURITY CENTER COMPLAINING ABOUT UAC BEING
DISABLED
I have found this to be a useful tip in various situations however I do
believe that the UAC features within Vista are actually very good and go a
massive way to improving the security of the operating system. If you must
disable UAC then this tip will help to get rid of the security center
message, however if you can get by with it enabled then I would suggest
trying to configure UAC first...
When you disable UAC on Windows Vista, the security center constantly
displays a red icon and informs you that there may be security issues with
your machine.
You can prevent this from happening by creating a value called
UacDisableNotify below the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Security Center
UacDisableNotify = 1 (REG_DWORD) to prevent the prompts from the security
center.
UacDisableNotify = 0 (REG_DWORD) to allow the prompts from the security
center.
If the Security Center key is protected, you can modify the permissions
using the Windows Registry Editor however it is advisable to reset the
permissions once the addition has been made.
Although I haven't fully confirmed this, I believe this setting only applies
to the Enterprise or Ultimate versions of Windows Vista and on other
versions such as Basic there is no way to disable the functionaility...

I hope this helps someone.
