Registry setting for default folder view

Our group policy removes Folder Options from the Tools menu in Explorer.
However, for one user I need to change the view from Icon to List or Details.
I need to do this from the registry as the Folder Options menu is not
available. Does anyone know the registry setting for the default folder view
for all folders?

Offhand I don't know but one way to try and track such changes via the
registry is to use a registry snapshot program where you compare the
registry before and after you make a change. I use regshot to do such and
last time I checked it was still free.

For anyone who wants them, and they are obscure, the changes in the registry
when you go from Icons to Details in the Folder View.
