I was in the process of configuring a computer and the following message
appears when I logon:

"One of the files containing the system's Registry data had to be recovered
by use of a log or alternate copy. The recovery was successful."

How do I delete this message?

Thank you in advance.

Simon,

This message normally means something is happening to one or more of the registry hive files, System, Software,
Security, etc., in the %systemroot%\system32\config folder. You might want to run Chkdsk on the system to see if it reports
any issues.
