Can somebody point me to the registry key or keys that I should
extract/alter/push via login script so that I can configure the proper
AutoUpdate settings for all the computers I log into?
It is a windows 2000 professional environment. I want to have the "keep
computer up to date" box checked, the "automatically download" radio button
selected, the "every day" setting in the field chosen, and "3am" selected
for time. I also want to be able to uncheck the 1st box at a later time if
I choose, again by registry file.
I guess while I'm at it, I'd like to change the registry so that my browser
history is 1 day, and my temporary internet cache and recycle bin both use
1% of the hard drive.
I feel stupid about this -- I used to do this kind of thing all the time
with my old scanreg program in win95, or when I was being hardcore a copy of
SMS installer. I've been working with Unix far too long now, I guess.
