When I tried to boot up my machine (Winx XP Pro) this
morning I received this message:
windows\system32\config\system is missing or corrupt.
Las time I had a problem with the rgistry I used the fix I
found on the Microsoft KB and it pretty much cleaned out
my files. I would really like to avoid this, this time
around!
Is there any other way to repair this without using their
registry fix (article 307545 in the KB)? I backup my
important files once a week but I cannot really afford to
lose this weeks files. I cannot use system restore since.
When I try, it shows the same error message.
Please help! If you could please send any info to
(e-mail address removed) I would really appreciate it!
Thanks
