Registry Permissions remotely

Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out a way to send out some registry
permission settings remotely. We have about 300 machines
that need these. For example, I want to give "everyone"
full permissions in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools so
they are able to open files in PhotoEditor.

Another example is for VoloView Express I need to make
about 40 registry permission changes so they can open
files with that program without having Power User or
Administrator rights.

I'd really like to put together a batch file to take care
of this if possible so send it out to their machines and
run it behind the scenes. I don't know VB, otherwise
that would be an option as well if someone can help me
through a script.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated in this!! I'm
stuck, please help!!

That's a great site!! But I wasn't able to find anything

Start by reading MS Knowledgebase article 245031:

As specified in that article, you need the Resource Kit. See therefore
article 237607: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=237607

Note: you only need to change the "Graphic Filters" key in that registry
path to make PhotoEditor work for all users.
