Executables are not stored in the registry but in the file system.
For this reason your question doesn't make any sense to me.
If you're looking for file permissions you may use the context menu for the
file or directory. Requires NTFS.

Hello Boss,

I found in some reliable sites where read & excute was
set to some registry key(eg: HKLM\system\controlset001).

But dont know how to set it !

I feel this comes under special permissions.

For write Permission which i think also comes under
special permission, I found these things need to be set:
Set Value,Create Subkey,Read Control

I m expecting same even for read & execute

plz do help me if u or anyone can,

any ways thanks for immediate reply

cheers,
Shekar

Links? If true, these sites would *not* be "reliable" in my book. <G>
