Registry might be corrupt (Code 19)

I can't access my CD-Rom or CD-ReWritable Recorder I get
Registry might be corrupt Code 19.In Device Manager. It
did work but since I received the latest download service
pk 4 for Windows 2000 Pro I've had problems with this. Any
Ideas? Thanks
