Registry key lost after hard reset

Hi,
I created a registry key from an application (CF 1.0). However, the key is
lost every time after iPAQ 4700 pocket pc is hard-reset.

What to do to keep the key?

You don't. The definition of a hard reset is that it is returned to factory
