Hi group,
OS: Pocket PC 2003 - 2nd edition
because end users don't have to care about system settings, I set all my
settings and
provide a registry file "registry" created with the regflushkey api. This
file resists under the flash file store directory. After a couple of
(days/weeks/months, it depends) and without changing a system setting, the
file "registry" changes in growth. It seems like the registry has become
corrupted. From than on, I am not able anymore to perform FTP communication
from the pocket pc device to an ftp-server.
In the Pocket PC 2003 interface (startàsettingsàUtilitiesàTab registry save)
there is an option available called "Enable Registry Storage". In the "good
old days" (pocket pc 2002) there was also a separate option "enable registry
load"
The same mechanism as described above worked well because if the device got
a warm boot, the file "registry" was only loaded. The OS was not able to
change to file "registry".
How can I avoid corrupted registry files? How can I avoid that FTP
communication stops working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Mobile boy
