Hello,

I have added the Logon bat in Group Policy Editor.
When Users other than administrator Logs in I am getting
following error message.

"cannot import szm.reg Not all data was successfully
written to the registry Some keys are open by the system
or other process"

When I am putting the users in Administrator Group
everythings works fine.

Can anyone tell me what could be the problem.

Thanks
JD

Sorry Jacob,

I sent my first response to you and not the group....

I have more sensible answer than before... Have you run "regedt32" and set
the NTFS permissions for the relevant registry key(s) to allow the normal
user write to the registry? I am still assuming that "szm.reg" is your logon
file?

Cheers

Dave

Probably permissions on specific registry keys. Have you checked the
permissions on the keys that szm.reg is targetting?
