Need help

Somehow, I have disabled the registry editor and need to
edit something. The message says
"Registry editing has been disabled by your administrator"

What can i do to re-enable it?

Hi, I had the same experience. I lost my ability to edit
in registry after an antivirus techy had me do certain
operations in my registry. It has driven me INSANE. but
not to worry, the fix for me was as simple as downloading
a file. Please go to page 5 or six of this newsgroup and
you will see my recent postings and the fellows--
"Taurarian" and "Tom" who directed me to 'Dougs', a
website that has the files. Write me back here if you
have further problems. Just open this message back up and
click 'post reply' if you need to ask me more. People in
here are VERY helpful.

Ron:

Each user has a different view of a newsgroup, so telling someone to "go to
page 5 or six of this newsgroup" will not be helpful. You need to quote the
article ID or, even better, just post what you mean to say.

In general, you would do well to learn about some of the technicalities of
usenet (the technical name for newsgroups). Once you understand how
newsgroups work, you'll wonder how you ever got along without them.

Tom;
I assumed that this fellow's newsreader would present the
same articles mine would, and so his page "5" would be
where mine is and would contain the same messages. I was
just trying to 'give back' the helpfullness you and
others offer me. I will read more about newgroup
operations.
Thanks again, Ron
