Registry Corruption

I had a memory problem which led to a registry corruption. I followed the
tech notes to repair the registry using startup disks. I created a set of
startup disks for XP Home Edition. I reboot my PC with Disk 1 but when I get
to the 6th floppy, I get a STOP: 0x0000007B error. I checked to see that the
HD was connected properly and now I'm at a loss. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
