Registry backup

I have to remove all traces of Nero 8 from my xp mce machine because I
think Nero 7 is better for me and it refuses to install on a machine
with a newer version. Although I used "Your Uninstaller" to uninstall
8 there must be some files left in the registry and I'm a little
nervous about messing around in there.
Please help anyway you can.

Who are you talking to? You seem to be addressing this to somebody
that gave you an *uninstaller*. I won't respond since I didn't but if
you want anyone to respond, you might reword the question.

How am I supposed to check it out if I don't know what it is?
If you want me to google "your uninstaller" why don't you just say it.
What, you didn't get any last night and you're taking it out on everyone
else? Don't be so obscure, just say "google 'your uninstaller'", take
it easy wwp, life isn't that bad. And yes, I did find google results
for it.


Oh by the way, did you use google to look for tools to clean Nero 8?

They seem to have a tool just for that.
 
That's easy: after uninstalling Nero 8, use System Restore (OR better yet,
an earlier backup of your system; you do have one, right?) to restore to the
point just before installing Nero 8.
