Registry backup

I need to create a backup of my registry. Can't seem to
locate simple straight forward instructions.
 
Create a restore point. That backs up your registry, as well as other
critical system files.

one before,camera,take a picture of it and download it
print a copy(HAHAHAHA,I couldn't believe it,I laughed so
hard I cried),but like the flying squirrel says create a
restore is the easiest!
