Registry backup

I need to create a backup of my registry. Can't seem to
locate simple straight forward instructions.

or get a couple of pens and lots of paper.Or I seen this

one before,camera,take a picture of it and download it
print a copy(HAHAHAHA,I couldn't believe it,I laughed so
hard I cried),but like the flying squirrel says create a
restore is the easiest!

go into the registry Editor

make sure "My Computer" is highlighted in left window pane
click on "file"
click "Export...", the save window opens

choice where you want to save it
give it a file name
save as type ".reg" file
