Registry altered by virus

I recently had a virus on my computer. I am no longer
able to launch an aplication called QuickbooksPro. When I
try launch the application, I get a message that the app
requires Microsoft IE 5.50 or later (which I already
have). I believe the app cannot launch because the system
registry has somehow ben altered. Can anyone advise how I
go about repairing the registry.

Thanks

Daniel

All I can ask is did you research the virus by name for details on what
actions it usually takes? Most A-V sites (check several) have write-
ups with details. Or Intuit may have that issue covered already
perhaps.
