regional settings does matter

For region, different than English (US) - I get a message
that this product has expired as of some date late in
2005. When I switch to English(US) locale - everything is
fine.

The beta is english only, unfortunately. This is specified in the download
I believe, and results with non-english locales may be unexpected.
