regedit

Please can anybody help,when i try to run regedit all i get is a black popup
screen for regedit.com.i have looked at system 32 to try and remove it but
can't find it .its the same when i try to run cmd.this all started because i
had norton on my comp and when i uninstalled it it took my drives/burners
with it.i'm not very computer minded (just a beginner) and i'm desprate for
help.

You have a virus!!!!


Run a virus checker at once


regedit is an executable it should be regedit.exe

some virus has created a regedit.com file

if you do a drive search you should be able to delete the file regedit.com


or else ...for now...to get regedit to run go to start...run


then enter the full name regedit.exe (rather than just typing in
regedit)
