My reply is at the bottom of your sent message:
Thanks for advice.
I renamed regedit.exe into regedit.com and it start working.
Also after i rebooted in the safe mode regedit.exe also worked ok.
Scanning my computer with Microsoft antispyware,AVG and AD-AWARE gave
no viruses or any malware. I did scanning in the safe mode.
Thanks.
This is really symptomatic of virus infestation but you've already scanned.
This leaves one further option in my mind though I could be missing
something so stay tuned for someone else to post additional ideas if there
are any...
Start
Run
Type "gpedit.msc" without the quotes
Hit enter
Drill down to Local Computer Policy > User Configuration > Administrative
Templates > System
On the right locat and double click Prevent access to registry editing tools
Either DISable it (enabled blocks it) or set it to not configured
I could be off-track here in that it's likely - I don't really remember -
that the policy would have prevented regedit.com from opening??? If it
didn't then it should have. <g>
