regarding the taskbar icons

Hi everyone,
There are programs that get loaded everytime my computer
tarts up (Quicktime, NAV, Messenger etc) and their icons
appear in the taskbar. The problem is that for a long
time i don't have the Quicktime icon there (although I do
have Quicktime), now it just pops up all the time. How
can I make Quicktime to not load itself when I start up?

Remove QTTASK.EXE from your start settings and then rename the
QTTASK.EXE file in the PROGRAM FILES\QUICKTIME folder.
