Hmm... I don't know whether I'm being a tad paranoid (...probably! lol) But the message that was hiding the sigs, translated from:
"Dit was een gratis sessie, gesponsord door www.teamviewer.com.
TeamViewer sessies zijn gratis voor persoonlijk gebruik.
Fijn als u zich aan de regels houdt!"
To this:
"This was a free session, sponsored by www.teamviewer.com.
TeamViewer sessions are free for personal use.
Fine if you stick to the rules!"
(I used an online translation service.)
But anyway... when I Googled the company mentioned in the error message thingy, I kept seeing this in the results: "Remote control any computer or Mac over the internet within seconds..." in the descriptive blurb.I understand there are totally legitimate uses for this kind of thing, but, does it mean that innocently using a sig, which is somehow routed through this service, could leave a user's PC vulnerable to being controlled by a third party?
Or is this just me over-thinking it?
For the time being, I've taken the precaution of removing my sig.
