Open the file, read it into a string, msgbox(string).

Not what you had in mind. Right. I figured that.

Be more specific about what you want to do and we can offer more specific help.

What version of PPT files, what verion of PPT is available, what specific data
do you want to extract, do you want to automate PPT to do it or do you need to
do it w/o PPT installed?
