Reg : Enable changing date & time

Hi,

I use Windows 2000 ADS in my office and client machines are running with
windows 2000 professional. I need to enable users to change date & time. How
can i do it ?

You could do this at
"Compconf\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Assign
Userrights\": "Change system time" (or something similar).

But I would leave it up to windows to re-set the time. Once the clients
are in the domain, they periodically sync their time with the domain
controller holding the PDC-FSMO-role. It can cause severe problems to
change the time manually.

Thanks for your reply, But it did not work. It still says "you do not have
the proper previlage level to change the time". And how long will it take to
apple the new setting ? I even re-started the machine to get updated with
the group policy. I have not blocked the access to control panel in group
policy. Please advice me what i should do .

Don't do this. If your workstations aren't syncing time with the domain
controller, you will run into a boatload of problems.
