So, all warnings aside. Im looking for a similar path in the XP Embedded as
it would be in other Win 2000/Xp registries. Seems like its changed locales
within Embedded.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current
Verison\Policies\Explorer

Im looking to tweak some of the Explorer settings. Though didnt seem to be
in the same place for Embedded as others. Any ideas of where I need to be
looking? Thanks!

They'll be in exactly the same place as XP Pro.
 
Hmm, I checked that place in my XP Embedded, and I didnt see it there. There
wasnt a Policies. Any thoughts? Thanks!

What policies you are looking for?
They are usually under HKEY_CURRENT_USER (not HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE) on XPe/XP Pro.

Well, a fair amount. We are looking on restricting a whole bunch of items.
Yeah, I figured it might be something like that. The document I have said you
would be able to do it under Local Machine, but clearly the path is different
somehow. I have the list of items we trying to adjust below. This document is
used by libraries to lockdown their PCs. We want to use it for our Embedded
Toasters. Hence trying to find the place as to effect the whole toaster, not
just a peculiar user. Thanks!

Common Program Groups do not appear on the Start Menu
Hide all Desktop Icons
Remove File Menu from Explorer
Remove Find Command from Start Menu
Remove Network Neighborhood Icon (and prevent network access from explorer
though still works via command prompt)
Remove Run Command from Start Menu
Hide Control Panel, Printers, and My Computer in Explorer & Start Menu
Only Drag and Drop can be user to alter the Start Menu & Desktop. Taskbar
does not appear on Start Menu
Disable Right Click Menus of the Taskbar, Start Button, Clock, and Taskbar
Application Icons
Disable Right Click Menus of the Desktop and Explorer’s results pane
Remove Shutdown Button from Start Menu

Then you probably want to tweak settings for the same reg.path under HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT branch. This will affect all user accounts
created at run time.
