Refurbished HP PSC 2210 at OfficeMax

What are the pros and cons on this deal? Was there a major defect in
this model that may cause problems in the future? Is there a new HP
multifunction that would be better, if I don't need the fax? How
about the HP 2175?

The brand new PSC 2410 is the same price at OfficeMax. If you look
carefully at the flyer, the second SKU is for the 2410. Just bought
one today. With the MSRP of $299 that 50% off.

At my local OfficeMax, the 2410 is still $299. Why?
