Refresh Rates

When I installed the upgrade from windows xp home to windows xp professional it reset my refresh rates.Now when I move the page up or down the screen is all wavy as if there were waves moving up the screen
When I go to display control and select advanced then
moniter it just says default moniter and use hardware default settings.there are no other choices.So I do not know how to refresh the rates.

You need to get the monitor info file from the manufacturer. Check either
the PC manufacturer's or monitor manufacturer's web site to see if they
have the download.
