Hi. Not sure of my nomenclature, but I just installed XP and everything
is working great except the screen. Instead of scrolling smoothly, it
goes up and down in waves. This may not have anything to do with
Windows, although I did not have the problem before the install, but if
I could get a clue where to go it would be appreciated. I have used the
video card with a previous install of XP without a problem. And I did
remove and put back the card. Have no idea what to do next. TIA

After you installed XP, did you install the latest drivers for
all your hardware? Check the support site of the card's
manufacturer. Download and install the latest driver.

Good luck

Hi Nepatsfan, and best thanks for replying. As it turned out, almost
minutes after I sent the message, I thought, Aha, driver! And next
discovered I had indeed lost the video controller driver. I will sleep
well tonight. Thanks again. Larry R
