I have a file with a chart where the source data are
setted cells and with a macro I copy the data as hard
numbers in the cells.
The problem is that the chart don't change when I copy the
data, but I have to save the file, to close it and then
reopen it in order to have the chart refreshed.

Help me please

Let's say you just ran the macro and the chart didn't update. Does the
"Calculate" or "CALC" message show in the status bar? What happens if you
hit the F9 key?

You may have the recalculation set to manual (Tools | Options | Calculation
tab). Or maybe your spreadsheet is very large, which causes Excel to show
the CALC message (http://www.decisionmodels.com/calcsecretsf.htm).
