Hi all,
I am a developer currently working on a small appliocation. Part of my
application requires the downloading of Word Documents (.doc) to Pocket Word
(.pwd)While I am aware that .doc file is still able to be read in Pocket
Word, the margins are all wrong and messed up. My main objective is to make
the doument look presentable and neat. Is there a way I can go about doing
this?
I have tried to convert the .doc to .pwd. These are what have tried, though
all unsuccessful. Maybe it might stimulate some suggestions:
1. Processing byte by byte to retrieve the data from the .doc file.
Unsuccessful since the data is embeded in alot of unwanted data.
2. Maunally changing the extension to .html, .rtf, .pwd, .txt. All of which
does not work, since a normal Word Doument has alot of excess (header &
footer)information
I would be so grateful if anyone could shed some light on this problem.
Thanks so much
Regards,
Missy
