I had to reform my hardrive. Can anyone tell me the correct method for
re-installing all My Documents from my Back-up disk please?

I don't think the correct way is just to copy everything from the disk to my
hard drive.

Thank you.

Depends - how'd you back it up?

Shenan, I use Norton 360 for protection. Part of that software allows for a
back up function. That is where I backed up from.

Then you would need to follow the procedures laid out in the product help
itself. Un general - it gives these instructions:

1. Start Norton 360.
2. Click Backup and Restore.
3. Click Restore.
4. Under Files to Restore, click the category of the file that you want to
restore.
5. Select the file that you want to restore.
Make sure that all the other items are unchecked.
6. Click OK.
7. Under Files to Restore, uncheck all of the other categories.
8. Under Restore To, select the location to which you want to restore the
file.
9. Click Restore Now.
10. Click OK.
11. Click OK, and then click Close.

Now how well this will work after a format/reinstall - no idea - I do not
use the product.

How do I restore the files or folders that I backed up?
