I had to reformat my hard drive from the manafacturer's cd's package that came with my computer!
After I went through the entire process as per instruction's on each cd.When the reformat was completed, I found now I have two window's xp home edition running. Is there anyway of correcting this problem?
Thank you :-) & have a great day!!!

Go to Start > Run and type in: MSCONFIG , and hit enter,
Click the BOOT.INI tab.
Next, click "Check All Boot Paths".
This procedure should correct your BOOT.INI file.
