Hello,
I would like to reformat the drive containing Windows XP,
i have gone into my BIOS and changed my boot sequence.
Now will the XP setup reformat my drive for me before it
re-installs. In the setup you can hit "R" to repair or i
think hit enter to overwrite. Which do i use?

Thank you,
Erik

When you boot the CD, go into Setup (ignore the immediate R option).
After the license agreement you have the choice to 'Repair INstallation'
- which will retain installed software and settings and is the preferred
approach if you need to 'refresh ' the system) or New Install. In New
Install, when it asks where, hit ESC. You can then select the current
partition, delete it, make a new RAW one and go on to format that at the
next stage
