reformat the outlook

my colleague just left the company and his laptop has passed on to a new
colleague to use. i have removed my old colleague E-mail account from the
Outlook. But how come the Outlook data file is still under my old colleague
name. Is there a way to change to my new colleague name? I attempted to go to
c:\users to change the name but not able to.

Kindly advise. Thank you

Why isn't your company reimaging their hosts for new employees? You
don't give a polluted host to a new employee that is probably not setup
per the company's requirements.

Close the data file (in Outlook), then delete it and create a new one.

As for the name - where does that name show up? It also helps if you
specify your (colleague's) Outlook version and account type.

P.S. I would also give that used computer a serious clean-up with
CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/), with all options checked.

Tehe, you mean to make sure IT will need to reimage your machine
afterwards? :-D

Which is what the IT dept should be doing anyway with a new employee....
