Consult the manual that came with your laptop to find out how
to enter the Setup program and change the BIOS settings so that
you can boot from the XP installation CD.
Put the CD in the drive and restart your computer.
You should see a notice to hit any key to boot from the CD.
Hit a key as soon as you see this and the installation
procedure will begin.
