I just bought an Epson RX500 as an upgrade from my Lexmark X73. It
seems
to be a big improvement with it's better color renditions (more
cartridges) and nice features like a slide/negative scanner. It does
have
more cartridges than the Lexmark's two (black and tri-color). One
reason
I dumped the Lexmark is that refilling the Lexmark was pretty much a
failure, especially the color cartridge, with inks from InkTec and
Repeat-o-type. The best success I had was refilling the Black cartridge
with the InkTec, but mostly it was a waste of money and time. I'm
wondering if I will experience the same frustration refilling the Epson?
How easy/hard are the cartridges to refill, and which ink would work the
best in the RX500? Also, how good are the re-manufactured cartridges
one
sees advertised?
