Dave C.

I have some black and color inks for cartridges #56 and #57 form a HP
printer I no longer have. Would these be compatible for use with
cartridges #96 and #97 in my HP 6980 printer? These inks came from
Alotofthings supplier.

Thanks,

Dave C.

They are probably not compatible with anything since the word compatible
means nothing.

You will find that normally there are 2 separate kits for 56 & 96 but
the ink is the same for both.

For 57 and 97 the ink is different. 97 uses vivera inks while 57 uses
an older formulation

Good information, thanks. I'll use the black ink and dispose of the
57 color inks.

I couldn't find information on the 56/57 cartridges on the image-
specialists website.
#96 is WJ1020 (pigmented black)
#97 is Cyan-WJ244 Yellow-WJ6053 Magenta-WJ7006

WJ1020 is common place for the 51645A (HP 45) or the Canon PGI-5bk /
BCI-3e

DESKJET 850C
51645A (HP 45) WJ1020 Pigmented Black
51641A (HP 41) Cyan-WJ2044 magenta-WJ6063 yellow-WJ7003

Image-Specialists might not be your brand of ink, but if it was you'll
see that pigmented black and magenta is the same ink on both
printers. But better safe than sorry.

Thanks,

From the Alotofthings site:
Bulk inks for use with Hewlett Packard 21, 27 & 56 black ink jet
cartridges. Please note that this pigmented black ink is the same for
the Hewlett Packard 92, 94, 96 & 98 pigmented black cartridges. Bulk
inks for use with Hewlett Packard 22, 28 & 57 tri-color cartridges
Tri-Color should not be used with any other cartridges then those
listed here.

One would never know since they will not disclose what they sell.

"Hewlett Packard compatible bulk ink sets and individual colors. All

You've been told many times alotofthings discloses what they sell. I
don't understand why you continue to lie about the subject.

READ THIS

I called them. They refused to disclose who makes what they sell when
asked about specific products.

They do not PROMINENTLY display next to the offering who makes what they
sell and do not properly describe it. There is NO full disclosure.

LIAR! It's displayed on no less than 21 pages, specifically top
center of the products they sell.

If you are going to lie, don't make it an obvious one.

You are a liar. I know you are old and have trouble reasoning but you are
a liar. You are claiming I did not call them. You are an old fool.

Measekite may be "a-lot-of-things" but one thing he isn't particularly,
is brilliant.

I imagine "alotofthings" has his phone number on caller ID notification
and if he were to call, they'd probably will tell him were to go.

He has continually libeled them on this newsgroup.

The holy one may be "a-lot-of-things" but one thing he isn't particularly,
is brilliant. He has been asked many times by numerous posters to
either bottom post or inline post when responding to specific things but
it seems he just keeps thumbing his noise in the air.

Now he want to practice law from another country without a license.

You are a liar.  I know you are old and have trouble reasoning but you are
a liar.  You are claiming I did not call them.  You are an old fool.

Let's review. You claim alotofthings doesn't disclose what they
sell. I see a specific reference to Formulabs ink on 21 pages. It's
also listed in the title bar of the website. They make it clear they
distribute Formulabs ink in their kits.

I'm not saying you didn't call them. I am saying you are not very
credible. Ignoring the other things you do, you are presently making
a claim they don't disclose what they well. Looks like to me they do
at least in their kits. They've been doing so for years, like 5 or
so.

Keep in mind they DON'T have to tell you who their distributor is.
Canon doesn't disclose who manufacturers their ink, BurgerBarn doesn't
disclose who they buy their beef from, your supermarket doesn't
exactly disclose what milk they put in bottles and slap their own name
on it, except for a cryptic diary code as required by law.

Review yourself; I do not care what you say

I do not care what you say. The keyword is prominently. And if was not
for others complaining they would not do what they did. They were a rude
bunch and I never would patronize anyone like them.

I have also over time read about others complaining about them.

You NEVER have to answer any of my posts again.

Yes they did.

I know you are very old and do have trouble at times reasoning and knowing
the difference between spending less and savings money so just produce
your jargon for someone else.

Actually you've said they don't disclose what they sell. Well clearly
they do. Now you are trying to change the goalposts and say it's not
prominent enough for you.

Given nothing will ever be good enough unless it's OEM, regardless of
actual objective experience or independent testing.

How many links did I find that contain

"All contain Sensient Imaging Technologies, Formulabs Division Inks,
distributed by TrueColor Imaging Ink Jet Supplies"

Top center

Next to the product

"INK MANUFACTURED BY SENSIENT IMAGING TECHNOLOGIES, FORMULABS
DIVISION"

Is it prominent? Top dead center, also next to the product, first
line under details.
I know you are very old and do have trouble at times reasoning and knowing
the difference between spending less and savings money so just produce
your jargon for someone else.

Spending less money on essentially the same result, with no negative
impact for your application, results in savings.

Printing a yahoo map, something you DON'T need to be archival, on OEM
is a waste.

I'm not saying you didn't call them. I am saying you are not very

When would he call? , I would have thought he was too busy making
other calls:
