referer info removed from header details

how do i remove referer information from the html header
details? we have a web app that looks at who's coming in
to verify they're valid, and some are coming in without
the referer info, so need to know how to add/delete that
info. tks
 
Hi,
There are many 3rd party apps that can strip the "referer",
so that it doesn't show up in servers logs ........
[example]
Zone Alarm Pro, Symantec (ISS\NIS), WebWasher
