Referencing a subform

Hi can anyone help?

I am trying to reference a control on a tabbed subform from the main form.

I have used the following code:

If (subform_control = "") Or IsNull(subform_control) Then
MsgBox "message", vbCritical, AppTitle
AllowEdits = True
Me.subform.Form.control.SetFocus
Exit Sub
End If

Help and comments would be appreciated.

Hi,
if your control subform_control value is null, then expression
subform_control = "" will cause an error. Try:

If (subform_control & "" = "") Then

How about something like this:

If Len(Nz(Me!SubformControl.Form!ControlName, "")) = 0 Then
MsgBox "message", vbCritical, AppTitle
Me!SubformControl.Form!ControlName.Setfocus
End If
