someone just described the following problem to me. I'm wondering if anyone
has seen this before and knows how to fix?
An excel (not sure which version) file which uses some VBA code was running
happily on a windows98 machine. The machine was upgraded from windows98 to
windows2000. Now the file gets an error about not being able to find one of
those library files referenced? not sure wich one, as I said the problem was
described to me so I can't look again or get more details. When looking at
the references she said it displayed it was looking for it under
c:\windows\system32\.. There is no 'windows' directory in windows2000, its
c:\winnt\system32 by default. She said she created a c:\windows\system32
directory and copied the file it was looking for there but that did not
help. The error referenced the Trim() function... so its the library that
that is from.
any ideas?
