Reducing the size of a user profile

I was reviewing the profile sizes for the user accounts on my WP
installation. I noticed that the profile for my UserID is much larger
(comparatively) than the others on the system - it's about 650mb in size. I
am suspecting that this large profile is the reason behind why there is so
much system activity when I log on, and also why it takes so long to
initiate my session.

Do my observations seem correct? Any suggestions on how can I reduce the
size of my profile?

Don't know if that is the problem unless you are using roaming profiles but
the profile includes all the stuff on your desktop including folders try
moving stuff to different folder and putting shortcut to their for easy
access. FWIW mine is 1.6GB
